 A progressive business is a good thing but the changes they can make compare little to progressive policies and control the government has. Business has changed from profit maximization for shareholders to being more responsible and having purposes greater than simply profit. As the business landscape continues to change we will likely see more changes towards wealth redistribution and more social enterprises. With out polices put in place by government to regulate pollution and taxes on the wealthy it is unlikely we will see meaningful change. That is why we must support social enterprises but remain skeptical of their actual impact. Why does someone deserve to be a billionaire when there and always hundreds of people involved in process who are not rewarded fairly.
